Ignite Business Insider: Joseph, thanks for taking the time to sit with us again. You’ve been traveling like crazy, networking across borders, and launching some serious tech along the way. Can you bring us up to speed on what you’ve been working on?
Joseph Haecker: Thanks for having me—it’s always great to be back. Yeah, the past year’s been a whirlwind. I’ve been bouncing between Mexico and Guatemala, immersing myself in startup scenes, mentoring founders, and really just listening to what people need. Professionally, I’ve been focused on scaling three platforms. Join inCrowd is my digital contact card startup, making networking actually useful and trackable. One Bite Foodie is our social network for foodies, designed to give local influencers a real shot at monetization. And of course, there’s Ignite Business Insider, which is more than just a magazine—it’s a platform that finally gives entrepreneurs and creators an on-demand way to publish and be seen. It’s been full-on, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Ignite Business Insider: You’re one of those people who seems to do everything—books, podcasts, tech, advising, even Fractional CMO roles. What’s the thread that ties it all together?
Joseph Haecker: That’s the question I get most. On the surface, it might look like I’m doing a million unrelated things, but under the hood, it’s all incredibly aligned. At the heart of every company, every book, every platform I’ve built—there are three constants. First, I build tools that give communities a voice. Second, I design businesses that gather those communities in meaningful ways. And third, everything I do centers around storytelling. That’s what customer-centric marketing is at its core—putting your audience at the center and helping them feel heard, seen, and celebrated. It’s not about the tech. It’s about connection. That’s the through-line.
Ignite Business Insider: You’ve never shied away from taboo. Whether it was Design Porn, Design Talk LIVE, or even your bachelor party company So-Cal-Strippers—you’ve built in some edgy spaces. How do you navigate that?
Joseph Haecker: Honestly? I don’t see them as edgy. I see them as real. Each of those businesses was built around fundamental business models, but what made them different was how they embraced their community and empowered it. Whether that was designers pushing boundaries or content creators reclaiming their image—it’s all the same to me. I just happen to not be afraid of controversy. As long as it helps people make money, builds authentic communities, and lets people own their stories—I’m all in. It’s about respect. It’s about freedom. And sometimes, yeah, it’s about pushing buttons.
Ignite Business Insider: That’s a perfect segue into your newest tech company—Only Fans Insider. What’s the platform all about?
Joseph Haecker: Only Fans Insider is the first self-publishing, user-generated digital magazine for the adult content creator space. But even more than that, it’s a platform that gives creators and agencies the tools to tell their stories now—without waiting for traditional press. They can log in, publish articles 24/7, include their links, logos, and bios, and even get their creators featured through their agency. It’s built to mirror the empowerment that OnlyFans itself gives its users. Just like they own their content, now they can own their press.
Ignite Business Insider: What makes Only Fans Insider so unique compared to everything else out there?
Joseph Haecker: For starters, it’s the only UGC (user-generated content) magazine out there—period. That alone makes it groundbreaking. But beyond that, it offers what I call a “middle ground.” It’s not just as fast as social media or as prestigious as a legacy press feature—it’s both. You get the speed of self-publishing, with the authority and credibility of a published interview. Agencies love it because we include their logos, URLs, and bios right in the articles they submit. And our wholesale pricing model means they can guarantee coverage for all of their creators affordably. It’s all about creating an ecosystem where everyone wins.
Ignite Business Insider: Why do you think the ability to self-publish matters so much—especially in this industry?
Joseph Haecker: Because owning your narrative is everything. Think about it—OnlyFans gave creators a way to monetize on their own terms. But until now, they didn’t have the same control over their reputation or public persona. With Only Fans Insider, that changes. They’re not waiting for a journalist to call. They are the journalist. They control the headline. And that shift from dependency to empowerment is huge. It’s freedom.
Ignite Business Insider: So what’s the number one thing Only Fans Insider needs right now?
Joseph Haecker: Agencies. We’re actively building partnerships with agencies who want to offer their creators guaranteed publishing. And we’re building our Advisory Board—leaders and innovators in the adult content space who want to help shape the future of press in this industry. We also welcome individual content creators, of course. But agencies help us scale impact quickly—and they love the revenue-sharing model.
Ignite Business Insider: Where do you see Only Fans Insider in the next 5 to 10 years?
Joseph Haecker: In five years, we’ll be the Conde Nast of OnlyFans content. Think Vogue, GQ, Bon Appétit—but for every niche within the platform. In ten years, we’re aiming to be the Grammys of the creator economy—complete with awards shows, red carpet events, educational retreats, even local meetups and workshops. We’ll have national, regional, and city chapters. It’s about elevating this industry into something sustainable, empowering, and culturally respected.
Ignite Business Insider: One last question before we let you go—what’s your prediction for the future of the OnlyFans community, especially with the global economy looking more unstable?
Joseph Haecker: Honestly? The economy isn’t looking great. A lot of countries are leaning into nationalism and protectionism, and that leads to instability. But here’s the silver lining—people are starting to realize they can’t depend on traditional jobs or government handouts. They need something they can own. Something real. And fortunately, platforms like OnlyFans exist. Everyday people—and even celebrities—are using it to launch careers, promote TV shows, or just make ends meet. With Only Fans Insider Magazine, now every content creator—no matter how big or small—can get featured in the press just like those celebrities. As we roll out more niche magazines, they’ll be able to target their exact audience and own their credibility. We can’t fix the world economy overnight, but we can build industries that give people power, voice, and income.
