Thank you for taking the time to sit with us and share your story. Can you share a little bit about you and your company?

Of course. My name is Abdullah Al Mamun, and I have built my career around being a payment gateway veteran, international legal business consultant, IRS Certified Acceptance Agent, and a passionate advocate for global e-commerce. My professional journey began in 2010 as a freelancer, which soon led me to a role as a copywriter for an American real estate company. Recognizing a deeper calling in the business consultation and payment processing sectors, I pivoted my career in 2016.

Since then, I've founded and co-founded several ventures. Alongside Business Globalizer, which stands out as a project particularly close to my heart, I also co-founded Dial2Support, eCom Global, Commander, and Sky Prep Center. I established Business Globalizer with a mission to assist non-resident individuals facing challenges in international company formation, legal structuring, compliance, and navigating the complexities of the payment processing industry.

A question so many people are interested in, is how you got started. Can you share a little bit about what you were doing before this, and what that moment was like for you when you decided to start this new journey?

I began as an internet marketer in 2010. However, it was between 2013 and 2014 that I encountered significant challenges in receiving payments from international customers. This issue wasn't unique to me; many of my colleagues in similar industries faced the same hurdles. The lack of accessible payment gateways like PayPal or Stripe, coupled with not having an international company, led me to lose an estimated $25,000 to $30,000. Determined to find a solution, I delved into extensive research and eventually solved this problem on my own.

Realizing the value of the solution I had uncovered, I started assisting my colleagues and peers who encountered similar issues. Their encouragement and advice sparked the idea to professionalize this service. Partnering with a colleague, who is now my business partner, we founded Business Globalizer. That moment when we launched was transformative; I felt a profound sense of purpose. It was as if I had not only solved a problem for myself but had also unlocked a way to ease the entrepreneurial journey for many others. It was a meaningful step, and I realized the potential impact we could make.

Let's take a little bit of a detour, and rewind the clock a little bit. What did you want to be as a kid? And how did that influence the person you are today?

Interestingly, as a child, my heart was set on becoming a philosopher or a teacher. I had an insatiable appetite for reading and a profound love for sharing knowledge. In philosophy, my idols were Ali, Aristotle, and Imam Ghazali. I admired their thoughts and perspectives on life.
However, as I grew older, my journey took an unexpected turn towards technology, which I passionately embraced. My initial dreams of philosophy and teaching enriched my perspective, making me more reflective and communicative. These traits, inspired by the philosophies of Ali, Aristotle, and Imam Ghazali, have been invaluable in navigating the tech world, blending my early interests with my current expertise.

Have you fully let go of that childhood dream? And where do you see yourself going in the next ten years?

To be honest, I didn't fully let go of my childhood dream; it's still very much alive. I've always been drawn to philosophy, finding time to immerse myself in books whenever possible. The dream of becoming a philosopher has stayed with me, yet it presents a conflict, as philosophy and business often seem at odds. It's a challenging path, merging these divergent interests, which leaves me uncertain about pursuing the exact route I once envisioned. However, the dream persists and occasionally stirs my thoughts.

Looking ahead to the next decade, my ambitions extend beyond personal success. I aim to foster success among my acquaintances and aspire to provide for over 500 employees. My goal is to elevate "Business Globalizer" to the forefront of business legal consulting, alongside the prosperity of my other ventures, including Sky Prep Center, eCom Global, and eCommander. Through these endeavors, I hope to positively impact at least 50,000 businesses, contributing to their growth and success.

Now, I have found that with successful people, there is always someone pivotal as either a mentor, parent, teacher, or someone that you look to for advise, that helped set you on this path. Could you share who that person was? And what impact that had on the person you are today?

The pivotal figure in my journey has undoubtedly been my father. He harbored aspirations of becoming a businessman himself, yet life steered him towards a career as a civil servant. Despite this, he instilled in me the courage to venture into the realm of business. He often emphasized the liberty and creative exploration that come with running your own business, encouraging me to "explore, think outside the box, and test and extend your boundaries. Keep going." His unwavering support has profoundly shaped me into the person I am today. His belief in the value of taking risks and pursuing my own path in business has been a guiding force in my life.

What was one take away that you learned from that person? And how did it translate into your business today?

One profound piece of advice that has always resonated with me came from my father. He emphasized the importance of exploration and encouraged me to "think outside the box, test and extend your boundaries." This philosophy has become a cornerstone of how I approach business. It inspires me to continuously innovate, push limits, and embrace challenges with a mindset of growth and possibilities. I carry this approach in everything I do and always will.

When we work with businesses, we focus a lot on their "Why?". What is your "Why"? What is the driver behind your company, and why you and your team wake up each day and give it your all?

Our "Why" is deeply rooted in the desire to bridge the opportunity gap for nonresident individuals who lack access to the same opportunities readily available in more developed jurisdictions. We are driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to promising opportunities, irrespective of their birthplace. The unfortunate reality is that being born in underdeveloped countries can lead to a life overshadowed by poverty.
This stark inequity fuels our mission—to lessen poverty and guide individuals toward success, especially those who dream big but find themselves hindered by their circumstances. We aim to level the playing field, ensuring that people from less privileged backgrounds can seize opportunities akin to those in developed countries. This commitment to establishing equal opportunities and empowering the underprivileged is what motivates my team and me to give our all, every single day. It's about making a real difference, pushing for change, and seeing dreams realized.

Let's dive deeper into your products and services. You already gave an overview, but how do your products or services help your customers? And what makes them different from your competitors?

Our services encompass a comprehensive suite of solutions tailored to the international legal structure. We specialize in consultation, company formation, legal compliance, global e-Commerce, taxation, and bookkeeping, along with providing both physical and virtual bank accounts, payment gateways, high-risk merchant payment processors, registered agents, and addresses. Essentially, we're a one-stop shop for all your business needs from start to finish.

What sets us apart is our commitment to being a high-value-added service provider. We don't just offer products; we immerse ourselves in our customers' challenges, making their problems our own. From the initial consultation through to company formation and even dissolution, we're there every step of the way. Let's dive into your customer's journey a little bit. Can you share with us, how do your customers discover you and your brand? What are their next steps? And what is the experience you would like to see your customers go on, when working with you and your brand?

In our 8+ years as a 360-degree service provider, we've built a strong presence that resonates within the industry, primarily through word-of-mouth on social media platforms, business forums, and entrepreneur circles. This, coupled with our strategic brand management and PR activities, helps clients discover us and what we stand for.

Once potential clients discover us, reaching out becomes effortless. They have the convenience of contacting our support team through social media, phone, or email. Following initial contact, we engage in a detailed consultancy process to grasp their needs thoroughly and consider potential solutions. We then develop a solution customized to meet their specific requirements. It's important to note that our brand prioritizes purpose over sales. Thus, our primary focus is on ensuring the success of our clients, as their success is our ultimate goal.

What I envision for our client's journey with us is nothing short of pure satisfaction and success. Our goal is to help them realize their entrepreneurial dreams, with our team playing a pivotal role in that journey. Seeing our clients achieve fulfillment through our collaboration is the ultimate reward for us.

Let's rave about your customers for a minute. Can you share a story about one of your clients or customers, that either touched your heart, or made an impact with you and your team?

Certainly, we've had the privilege of witnessing many inspiring stories through our work with clients, but one particular story stands out. It's about a client, whose name I'll keep confidential for privacy reasons, who began his journey with us, starting from a modest monthly budget of $500 to $1,000. Over time, his dedication and hard work have paid off remarkably. He now manages a team of five employees and has seen his monthly revenue soar to between $50,000 and $100,000. This journey not only inspired our team but also served as a powerful testament to the potential for financial growth and the impact of perseverance.

Everyone likes an inside scoop. What detail or secret about either you, or your company, is something most people might not know?


Answer: One interesting detail that most people might not know is that the seed idea for our company was actually conceived during a casual dinner conversation among friends. What started as a spirited discussion about the challenges and opportunities in the industry quickly evolved into a solid business plan. This informal origin has deeply influenced our company culture, emphasizing creativity, camaraderie, and the importance of informal spaces as sources of innovation. It’s a testament to how great things often start from simple conversations.

Final thoughts. What feeling or benefits would you like your customers or clients to take away when working with you and your team?

For our final thoughts, we want our clients to feel truly supported and valued when working with us. The benefit we aim for them to take away is not just success in their ventures but a sense of partnership and trust. We strive for them to know that behind them stands a team dedicated not only to solving their immediate needs but also to their long-term growth and satisfaction.
